Hey Dave, firstly I was remiss in failing to congratulate you, the newly married couple, and all the family and friends involved in the blessed event and celebrations mentioned in your wedding day post. With so much negativity everywhere today it's reassuring to read about something so warming. It's also cool that, aside from a new family being created with that union, you may have created some new knife guys along the way as a result passing around that sweet new Mnandi that you were so generously and most deservedly gifted.

Anyway, I was perhaps unclear in my previous post as the knife I had pictured with the fluted Ti scales is a PM 2. ( My "discontinued" reference was to the Fluted Ti Military which is no longer in production by Spyderco AFAIK.). I just checked Rip's Garage Tech's website and the Fluted Ti PM2 scales are still pictured with a price listed and no indication that they're unavailable. I was able to order mine drilled and tapped for RH carry only. They totally transformed the knife for me.

Here's a shot of the modded PM2 with its big brother Fluted Ti Military from a couple years back.
