Annnnnd someone gave me this f'in monster a few days ago.

I suspect that someones truck is missing a leaf spring and a couple axle nuts .....and whatever random part that the guard is made out of.

Those were such nice BM fixed blade's, a really beautiful design and great ergo's, now impossible to find any.
I have a later model Rant, though not as nice as your earlier model, it does have the same great hand eros and has a very nice stone wash.
Came with a very well made leather sheath before they later shipped them with a rather cheap nylon sheath.
I found one several years ago on a web site that still had one sitting on a shelf in the warehouse.
I had the tanto model as well but sold it, I prefer this one:
