One of the joys of the Boker Optima is the possibility to very easily switch the blade. Just hold the backlock bar and you can remove the blade and install a new one.

For example when you want to remove a clip point 440C blade and install a drop point CruWear version 😛

Does it come with all 3 blades, or did you buy them separately?

You buy a knife (handle+blade). You can then buy other blades if you want. There is even a special gutting blade or a saw dedicated to the Optima model.

In my case I bought a first Boker Optima (Ironwood and damas steel) and then a second one (stag and clip point 440C). I then decided to order a drop point CruWear blade to replace the 440C version.

Buck did the same with their Selector series. So did Gerber and Case.
