The scale on this one is Micarta. Clyde makes the scales from Micarta, CF, LSCF, Kevlar, Raffir, whatever.

I'm the designer of this knife, called the Raptor. I handle the design/creative side of CCC knives. I unfortunately don't own any of these knives LOL!

Nope, that's the original grind. It just looks odd because of the lighting, I think. I beefed up the handle by first wrapping it with cord, then covering it with electrical tape for that classic Eastern European look. One of those days I'll get rid of the old handle entirely and make a brand new handle for it, something not so plastic-y.
