Since you like ZTs and Spydercos (and kershaw), more power to you. They are great knives. It's hard to be disappointed with any of their offerings.

I used to recommend 3 knives to any beginner a while back. I think they still apply, and are great examples of the wares of 3 great companies...

I think every knife lover should own (at least once): a Spyderco Military, a Benchnade 710, and an Al Mar Sere 2K. They are all timeless, classic designs that would serve any of us very well.

Whatever you choose, good luck to you and enjoy the hunt. You have a very nice start on a first class knife collection. :thumbup:
