I had that same VR71 but traded it a month or so back. Ordered a replacement Brous last night though, the Turpin Strife.

I wanted the Turpin strife until I found out all the drama behind Dustin Turpin. He did finally make it right though with the person he ripped off. So maybe I will look at one of his knives in the future.

I've never heard of him until the other day. With the carbon fiber Brous Strife being marked down to $250 I couldn't pass. Almost bought the titanium Insight model too, $199.

He (Dustin Turpin) has some really cool knives but scammed a member and after that it really turned me off to his knives. But if I wouldn't have known the history I guarantee I would own a couple of his custom knives.
I like Jason Brous's knives though I only have a few of his knives but have been happy with all of them.
