Testing the corrotion redistance on 1095 and m4 in salty environments today :)

My wife's right, (don't tell her I said so) I may have a problem...

...but I use each one a few times throughout the day. My problem is one of decisiveness and commitment. I can start with a couple of knives, a slipjoint, a locking folder and a fixed blade. As the day goes on I find myself pocketing more knives as I come across them till my pockets contain something like the above pic. Not even 12pm here and I've got 10 knives in my pockets, I forgot the SAK hangin' from a chain around my neck. :D LOL

'Sir do you have any weapons or sharp objects on you'

'Well no weapons but i like to carry pocket knives.. hold on...'

The ZT0770CF gets clipped lfp, the small Sebenza in the leather slip sits in the bottom of my pocket and I can grasp the monkey's fist and pull leaving the sheath behind in my pocket along with my meds and the mini champion SAK. The TCP Barlow fits in my watch pocket while the ZT0808 Rexford is clipped rfp, the containing the Lone Wolf/Loveless City knif sits upright in my pocket and the fob on the City Knife allows me to also remove it from the sheath also leaving the leather behind. The Custom JD Ellis Lanny's Clip sit in my hand most of the time 'cause it feels so light and great in hand, it inspires confidence.

The large Ebony Sebenza sits in my rrp. Is this overkill? Of course it is, I also carry a tool bag with me so when the loads gets too much I can pair down my knives to something more manageable. Clothes and the time of year has a lot to do with what and how many I carry. I've been a mechanic and worked industrial maintenance for 40 years give or take and one thing I learned as a mechanic was to have a knife available no matter which pocket you stick your hand in. When you're workin' on a water tower 15 stories off the ground and you need a knife, you don't want to be jinglin' pockets to locate your knife 150 feet in the air.

I also have a CCW permit so I usually have a pocket to full size 9mm on me again depending on weather and clothing. You never know what someone is carryin' always assume they have some type of concealed weapon with them.

Lookin' like I look I've been questioned many times about all the knives but I've never had one confiscated, I even went to the Statue of Liberty pre 9/11 with that many and was let in to see the statue, granted the Mrs was a bit angry because it took the parks rangers almost an hour to verify that non were illegal knives, no switchblades or gravity knives. The story's here, somewhere, the trick to not gettin' arrested is to not have anything illegal and not make the LEOs feel threatened or uncomfortable. It's all in how you act and present yourself that determines if you're goin' to be singled out. Believe me lookin' like I do most cops are on the offensive anyway. :)
