Nice dye job there! Thought about doing something like that with mine.

Breaking down some cardboard boxes at my Grandpa's for him.

This knife is a ridiculous slicer. In terms of modern folders I have not seen one that is as thin beind the edge as this Boker Exskelibur. It stays thin for so high up the blade. There are knives way more expensive than this that could learn a thing or two.

It makes cutting cardboard an absolute joy though. I was actually looking forward to breaking down those boxes.

It's actually a sexy knife, s35vn Ti framelock. Very thin and light. Still it locks up very solid with no blade play. It isn't a "hard use" knife honestly, but carrying this thing is a dream and it is a cutting monster. So in terms of a knife to carry with you that cuts exceptionally well, this is it.

I don't know if you can get a sense of how thin this blade is for so high up the blade in this last picture. Look at the tang area by the lock for reference how thick the blade is. Now look at the plunge grind by the ricasso to get some sense. This is not a chisel ground blade.

Yes! I used to hang them from my ears back in New Orleans as a kid. They were in almost every bush.
