A machete that an old neighbor gave me. I modified the handle and blade shape. This thing is prob 40 years old. No idea what brand it is but it is a carbon steel blade and tough as nails.

Wow thank you John! That is exactly what it is. And from the research I did it may be older than I thought, which makes sense because the man who gave it to me is 90 years old. I can tell by the construction that it is quality, reading the history behind it makes me appreciate it more.
