scottyj ; It flips good similar to metal ones, but you have to really watch this blade those double edge serrations are lethal.obviously you cant bounce the blade off your hand.just a single flip on closing can get your index finger if not careful.5" blade 6" handles, 11" open, its huge,doesnt feel cheap. cool toy for 12.99
 
Those new WE slip joints look nice but not sure how I feel about the Ti handle plus in most photos it looks like a bit like micarta making the fact it is Ti somewhat a disappointment.
 
Titanium as a handle material is quite warm to the touch (for a metal). It is also quite resistant to chemical and physical abuse. The handle on the Scamp is also pretty grippy.
