Ha! And I thought this thread was :"Just Pics"! Besides, I really thought his work would be easily recognized. Anyway, these are by @hellize ... Szilárd Csizmár, a knifemaker from Transylvania in central Romania. The folder (which he calls a “Tinker’s knife”) has a unique opening and locking system and is entirely handmade (all steel). The blade is some of his forged motorcycle chain San Mai Damascus. He told a great story (he always tells great stories) about the Tinker when he made his first one in 2017. Unusual … for sure! But … oh so neat! Received this one about a week ago and bought it to go with the small fixed blade in the pic (which I got in 2016). It also has his motorcycle chain San Mai Damascus. Szilárd forges some great blades from motorcycle chain.
