Thank you for the kind words my friend, the Socom’s are my favorite of all and have so many variations too. Lots are tied for 2nd place, and lots that I don’t own are very close to 1st place, but of what I own, the Socom’s have yet to be bumped off king of the hill IMO.I love your Socom’s!
So true! Thanks for the pic. how does it carry in every day use?View attachment 1299617
Never seen a lot of Maximus around, so here we go.
Well, it’s kinda scary actually, i have the double edged version which making the knife very much murdery, in public. On top of that, i have to remind myself to not cut myself when closing. I believe in some states, it’s illegal to have a dagger style knife too. But that doesn’t concern me, since a neighbor from the North. Other than that, fit and finish is on point as expected from Hinderer. Double edged blade had it usage though. But sharpening requires more attentions to keep it symmetrical. So true! Thanks for the pic. how does it carry in every day use?

So far, i haven’t changed the Teflon washers that comes with it, yet. The action feels extremely smooth with that washers in it. The detent is moderately strong and i never failed to flip the blade out. How's the action feel on the Maximus?
