Just pix of knives

Had a bit of fun customizing my CS Recon 1 (XHP)...

The white ballance is just a bit off, the handles are more tan than they look. The handles were sanded, cleaned, and painted with Krylon Fusion (made for plastics and resin). So far, holding up well, but i know nothing is forever.

If you have access to it, duracoat or cerakote would work extremely well on the handle scales.

Fox Col Moschin large size combat folder (Dark Earth G10) + Fox Col Moschin smaller EDC sized folder (black G10)
N690Co steel - G10 - glass breaker - perfect lockup, centering, finish, the larger full size is built like a tank.
Maniago, Italy.

Contrary to many Youtube reviewers of this knife as well as on many web sites, the name of the knife has nothing to do with a non existent person named "Colonel Moschin".

One of several things I brought back from Blade Show 2014 in Atlanta.

The Limited Edition Dmitry Sinkevich designed ZT 0454s has a three-part Composite Blade: CPM D2 steel on the cutting edge and spine and Sandvik stainless 14C28N forming the angular design in the middle. 3D-machined carbon fiber handles that are lightweight, yet ZT strong. A sub-frame lock with titanium lockbar and hardened steel lock-bar insert provides reliable blade lockup. The blade opens with a flipper and moves on the KVT ball-bearing opening system.

Chamebelona59: Fantastic pictures and a Super Read. Of course I love badass knives but what gives certain ones IMO more meaning is when there is a great back story to the piece.

I am very familiar with the bigger model from vids etc. and I think E/O did a review on it. I have enough Big Folders but I wasn't aware (for some reason) of the smaller bro. I love it and like with the Emerson brand the history and meaning make it even sweeter. That was a great read and I saved it to do some more research on it. Thanks guy! :-)
