On a Bravo-1 in Green canvas micarta:D:D:D. Now the long agonizing wait for it to reach BC:(. Feel free to post Bravo-1 porn to help me through the period of suffering:D.

Well bro, I can't help you with the knife porn, but I feel your pain. I ordered a Bravo 1 in black canvas a week ago and the tracking #'s don't work. I contacted the dealer - Derrick at Knives Ship Free and he said that quite often the tracking #'s don't work, when it's shipped to Canada, until after the knife has been delivered!

So it sucks, but I'm there with you bro. Hopefully that will be some small consolation. :(

I think the reason I haven't picked up the Bravo-1 yet is because I can't decide on the handle. First I wanted GCM, then Black & green linen, and now Ghost green (jade).

That's my problem and strangely the last time I thought about it I wanted the Jade green. I can't decide, too many choices. ahhhhhh:o

If it's any consolation you have a great knife coming.

IMHO the Bravo 1 is an ideal balance of toughness, size, geometry, steel selection and cutting ability. When you add a nearly indestructible handle material like Micarta or G-10 the Bravo 1 is hard to beat. My only suggestion on how to improve the Bravo 1 would be to bolt the handle scales instead of pinning them. However, since handle scales coming lose is not a problem we hear about like we do with the bigger choppers I guess Mike's call on that was correct.

In conclusion we always ask the question;

"If you had to run out the door in a crisis with only one knife what would it be?"

More and more my answer is my Bravo 1/PSK/firesteel combo in a leather sheath.

:D

Actually, the scales on the Bravo-1 are held on with both epoxy and Corby bolts. The bolts were specified by the Marine Recon training unit that commissioned the Bravo-1, and all the Bravo-1s have them.

Now your Bravo is perfect, eh? :D

Oh yeah, I also need an awsome rig for it too:D. Lets seee yours, (cue texastonydobbs;)). I can't decide between leather, custom kydex or a survival sheath system.

older pics but here you go,I prefer leather .....

I stand here corrected in my orthopedic shoes.

I always thought they were just about perfect.
