It's kind of a big purchase for me, but I love making blades! Can't find anything negative about this machine. I couldn't convince myself to go big to begin with, so I opted for a grizzly, and have been satisfied, but not impressed. I need a slower speed for some finer bladed projects I'm working on.

Anyhow, I'm happy, and thought I'd share.
 
Every time I look at the surface grinder attachment I start drooling all over myself ;0)
 
Lucky you! Congrats. I've had to take my new grinder fund and shift toward purchasing a new cabinet table saw. Be sure to post up pictures. :thumbup:
 
It's the Caddilac in my opinion. You get 2 machines in one with the horizontal feature. You're gonna love it.
I'm waffling between the surface grinder and a Doall surface grinder. The Doall would have to be converted to a belt and would probably cost a lot more than the TW in the long run.
 
Congrats! Travis gave me the full demo at BLADE last spring. I was so impressed I nearly offered to trade my wife for one...

It is a hard check to write especially if you ordered the SG attachment with it. It's not without its flaws but they are easily worked around. Certainly a lot of machine and well built. You will be well pleased.


James, I hope your wife doesn't read the Forum. ;)
