Just received a CRKT M.D.P. Stiff Kiss!!!!

I received this knife today, and it seems to be well worth the money. It came with the concealex sheath with belt clip, belt slide, and lanyard. Has anyone had any problems out of them? I was thinking of having some scales put on the handles. Any ideas?

i got the tanto in july last year. Great knife, but like most people here, i got sick of the bead blast so i polished the knife to a somewhat mirror polish. Looks much nicer now. As for putting scales on, there are some examples on this forum, they look very good but im not bothered to try, im happy with a cordwrap.

the sheath is zytel on mine. i think yours is too, and it does slightly damage the finish i put on the knife.

the steel is soft.

but overall, the knife is very nice, i like it and for light cutting, ie as a letter opener, it will do a great job.

Nice knife for the price. I was going to get one as well but found one that is even better for the price, IMO, AND has a Kydex sheath. The new Camillus Arclite. If you like your MDP you should check it out
