I thought I'd make this thread a little review.
Both the knife and the sheath came to me in a big envelope, lined with bubble foil. I have to say I am extremely disappointed. As you can see in this picture, the sheath is of poor quality, with very flimsy and loose stitching.
It also looks very unappealing, the color of the leather looks like dirty cat poop, and I absolutely hate the used look. It even has a bit of a Scandinavian style to it, which I absolutely hate.
The maker even put a D-ring into the belt loop, which can be attached to a belt loop with only 2 tiny snap closures. What a stupid idea! There's even a hole on the bottom of the sheath to attach a leg strap via chicago screw (which were both included), can you believe that? Multiple carry options, what a dumb idea.
The best part is actually the flimsy, thin leather used for the sheath. It is only barely thicker than the spine of the BK2! I can't believe a serious sheathmaker would use such thin leather for any sheath. Absolutely stupid. Fun fact: The belt loop is attached to the sheath with only 7 tiny brass rivets. 7 rivets! Ever heard of something like that?
This is a picture of the carry position I hate the least. As you can imagine, this is very uncomfortable, and I feel the knife pulling my belt down with every step.
There is actually one thing that I'm very happy with, the time it took to get here, which was only 9 weeks.

In all seriousness, I'm extremely happy with the sheath, you did excellent work, Nick! And of course I like the knife. I sort of lost the love for BK&T, because my BK14 got kinda old for me, but I've fallen in love again! The sheath is well-made, comfortable, extremely sturdy (the term "beating a zebra to death" comes to mind), easy to carry, bombproof... and heavy. Did I mention the stitching is excellent and the leather extremely thick? Dude, that's some nice work. After the nuclear holocaust, there will be three things: Cockroaches, IBM computers, and BK2s in Nix Leather sheaths.
Thanks for reading!
