Just received a Temperance 2.. OMFG!!

I have wanted that fancy uptick Temperance for a couple years now. I need to just bite the bullet and get one. What an amazing looking FB Spyderco and boy oh boy, is it well regarded.

Not sure what my problem is not having one yet.

Since the mold for FRN scales would cost at least $30,000, I doubt that would make the knife less expensive. That tooling cost would have to be recovered, and it takes a high volume for the production cost savings of FRN to offset the initial tooling cost. Unless you mean he needs to revive the Temperance that was discontinued due to poor sales. He probably still has the tooling to do that.
 
I have a temperance II,and like it a lot,but I use my old model temperance ,the best Thanksgiving turkey,ham slicer I've ever used.:thumbup:

Just got a T2 and love it so far. Ive only used it for slicing and dicing in the kitchen but plan to put it through its paces camping and hiking this summer.
I know this is an old thread but anyone else have any new comments or pics???
