Just received the "Forum" EDC. It's a real gem! Arrived "shaving sharp" and in perfect condition. 100% solid lockup. A great size, nice and flat. Truly an "EDC"

Thanks to all involved in the project: Will, Darrel and Mike for putting it together. I haven't been involved here for all that long, but so far I'm having a ball.

I got mine today, too. The edge on mine could have been better, but it's fine until I get the Sharpmaker after it. Smooth, light, and thin for every day carry (sexy, too!). Lockup is perfect and tight. Just an overall great design and now great blade steel. I'm also impressed with the blade length to handle ratio. Darrel Ralph packed a lot of blade in a very compact package. I've been thinking about ordering a few more - one to give to my Dad and one as a backup. May have to sell a few of my liner locks, because I'm hooked on frame locks.

How do they feel in the hand? I got the Arclite, and wasn't real happy with no chamfering of the cutouts. Are they chamfered on the EDC? Do you feel like you get a good, but comfortable grip on the steel handles? Am thinking real seriously about getting one of the 154CM models, if I think I can hold on to one comfortably.

Thanks,

Bugs,

No chamfering on the cutouts, but they are much smaller than on the Arclite and don't bite my hand. The Arclite is comfortable for me, also. If you have large hands, the handle design really packs your fingers in there. I find myself resting my pinky on the tail of the handle. Feels comfortable just playing around with small tasks, but I don't know how it would do for larger tasks - or extended periods of work.
