Just saw this at Williams-Sonoma!

Just saw this at W-S, I'd never seen it before.

At first I just thought it was the Ken Onion Chef's knife, the I realized it was a Kaji. I guess its new.

This sort of solves a dilemma for me, I wanted the KO chef's but then I saw the Kaji's and wished they made a KO Kaji.

They must have a psychic working at Kershaw.

It's $1,299.95 for the Ken Onion 11 piece set, it includes 8 knives, a steel, take-apart kitchen shears, and a bamboo block.

The part that is confusing is, that as far as I can tell, the KO set on the sign is VG10, whereas the Kaji's are SG2. The pictured knife actually says Kaji on it and has wood that matches the Kaji's. Also SG2?

Yea, there are 3 different variations of the KO Chef knife. The standard Shun Classic (Clad VG-10), Shun Elite (410/SG2), and Kaji Fusion (Nickel Stainless/SG2).

Hey guys,

In my house, I read Blade magazine (and playboy), and my wife reads Bon Apetite (she's an excellent cook), but this month she showed me a page in her Bon Apetite that she thought I'd be interested in. They did a little special on some of the best kitchen knives out there, as in the Ken Onion!!

That's one of the things my wife likes about the addiction, she always has really great knives in the kitchen!!
