Hey guys,

So I just nabbed a user dogfather on the exchange and I am beyond excited. :DI have never owned any scrap yard offerings so I have a few questions.

How does this knife compare to the ratweiler or chopweiler in terms of chopping ability? Does SR 77 hold an edge and take a beating like SR-101? What are your guys experiences with the dogfather?

Thanks!

Nice score at a bargain price!! Congrats!!
I saw it but you beat me to it.
I have A DF and Ratweiler. Both are awesome but I find the DF to be the better chopper.
Also the Res c does an AWESOME job absorbing the shock.
I have had and beat my DF for months and haven't touched the edge other than to steel a few rolls out. I find that the SR 77 holds and edge just fine.

I love mine, it's one of my very favorite knives; tough in every way.
I should get it a black leather jacket.

SR-77 doesn't hold an edge as well than SR-101 but it is stronger than SR-101.

Here's mine (mod) :

The SR77 should be even tougher than the sr101.

The edge probably won't last quite as long under use though. I think that SR101 will have it beat there.

I have a B11, and I still want a Dogfather or a Battlerat.
