i snagged it off another forum , its a silver blade with a little wear on the pocket clip. i have been carrying my benchmade dejavoo for the last 2 days but am thinking of maybee using this piece as my edc. i deliver beer for a living and use my edc to cut shrink wrap off the pallets. the small straight edge that is on the tip of the blade would be plenty fine for this app. i am a serrated blade kinda guy anyways so the full serrated blade wont really bother me. how quick/slick is the presentation on these guys, my dejavoo is extremly quick and super slick and im the kind of guy that dont like to waste any time on anything. i can snap the dejavoo out with my wrist or just a little flick of the thumb. i also like the fact that they are liner locks, it is much easier for me to one hand close them. im a benchmade guy at heart and the only other spydie i own is a spot necker so im really not familiar with how slick spydies actions are. anyways im pretty stoked about this piece for $60

Good catch!

I think you'll be favorably impressed with the smoothness of the action on the Military.

This might change you over to a "Spyderco guy." ;)

My d2 millie is the smoothest knife I own.
I am definately gonna get a fully serrated one in s30v too:)

I am expecting my latest BF purchase on Monday or Tuesday. I snapped up a NIB Spydie Chinook III for 89 bucks, including priority mail and delivery confirmation. I don't know if the guy just found the 'Nook on his doorstep or what, but 89 bucks is an outrageous deal. It would be a good deal even if I had had to pay extra for shipping.

I need to break out my Military and give it some pocket time soon. It is probably lonely. :D

That's a sweet deal.
Carry the Military in one pocket and the Chinook in the other; then they'll both be happy(and so will you, because, as the Simpsons mentioned, a man is very happy who has two knives:cool:).

Military is one the best knives to be had...60 bucks shipped for one lightly used is a steal. Congrats.

You will enjoy your Military. Very quick in the hand, lightweight, but a full size folder that can stand up to cutting all day long. Mr. Glesser designed the Military for a military person wearing gloves; To be easy to open and close one handed with a glove on.
In the word of Mr. Burns- "Excellent"
