They are nice looking knives , in good condition , I love the pressed steel handles .
I know its not the in thing , but I like them , they bring back memories . My dad would only let me buy Okapis , because they were blunt when they were sold , and for a 7 yr old , blunt knives were safe
I learned to sharpen them tho .
Okapis were never designed to be high end knives , even their website says "Traditionally the Pocket and Butcher Knives are used by the lower end of the market for whom a knive is a neccessity."
I like them because they are just a knife that is made to cut and last a while .
I have one thats been a regular EDC for over 20 years , its got the look and feel of a cheap knife , and has had for all those 20 years , but it cuts like a razor
I still carry that old thing regularly .
I never knew about Ragweedforge selling Okapi till it was too late.
