Just some fixed stag/elk - pics

...Oh Lord...I agree with you wholeheartedly Mike...Can't imagine getting started on "fixed blades" along with the folders. I'd be divorce court by the end of this month...   I may be there by then anyway with the CC account lookin' like it is...LOL...:D

ahh come on guys loosen up :) as long as you stick to buck only you will be okay ;) :D

Nice pictures / beautiful knives.

A LIGHTBOX was mentioned above..

TIP: You can build an inexpensive LB out of white 1/2" PVC pipe, then cover with cheesecloth or other white fabric that will act as your light-diffuser.
Works great for pictures of those mirror polished blades!

Hey BM#10...
What Mike and Darryl said.
I'm sitting here ready to launch a Akonua, Kalinga, or 119 Buckcote my way.

Telling myself to stay with folders. Even then I worry about the PayPal account.

Then I see this thread...and my heart skips a beat...not a good thing for a guy with heart failure. Reminds me of when I saw Playboy for the first time.

I need to win Lotto.

No, no vette. LOL.
But I read my own post and found that I am already showing signs of weakness and caving in. When I first came here it was to get info on the 110. I was going to collect only 110's. In my post I noticed I didn't limit myself to 110's and typed "folders". Mike got me sold on the 112, ZZJake on engraved bolsters, someone else on NS, someone on Buckcote, another on Strider, and then Mayo...and now Larry with those cool fixed blades that started this thread.
Like going to an AA meeting at a bar but only having enough cash for two shots of takillya when ya want the whole bottle and ya really don't even need one shot to begin with.
Goose.

it has only been a couple of years since i started collecting but even then i figured i wanted one of every buck made that was younger than me (69) , problem is i had no idea how many that involves and that is just the standard production models , well then about a year ago i seen some of the limiteds and customs so now i am getting those instead of the regular production i should have stuck to the original plan much easier and cheaper but what the h its fun and meeting good people and if i wasnt here i would be in a bar lol

Sorry bout that goose.... I guess I won't post the yellowhorse and praters....:D
Or the rest of the fixed blades. :D

Just one addict contribuiting to the deliquency of another addict... :D Like these other guys are doing to me....:o

aww come on pr go ahead and post i would like to see them as i only have a few yellowhorse , goose can close his eyes lol

Was thinking tho about all the misc, non 110 type folders. Might make an interesting pic. :D

Please post...love everyone's pics of their cool Bucks.
BTW, Mike, thanks for putting your collection URL in your signature line. Very cool collection of steel

OMG......just dug out a baggie with half dozen or so old mint Western brand muskrats. Talk about lost in the black hole. Must have been mid 80's or so when I bought some closeout thing. I know,,, not Bucks, but still cool knives.

Whew,,,still digging.....

yes i would sure be interested to see em
i have to get a different bulb for a light box thingy i set up and then i will post some pics
all told i think i have 35 110's with another 6 in the mail and 9 of the titaniums with another on the way (course there is a couple of duplicates)
and a year ago i didnt really like the 110 , but i have always liked the titanium that was one of the first bucks i had along with the 184 which i foolishly sold

Very Cool Tread,

As most of you already know the Stag handled Bucks are my favorite. Like Goose, every time I see your knives I just want more:). I to am trying to stay with just one model type for awhile (loosing proposition). My current fixed blades in stag/elk is 124, 192's, 194, 196's, 401,475,694's and that was before I stated with the 110's,112's,500's. I should not buy anything until xmas time. But.........keep posting pic's of you knives!!!!!! Maybe they'll keep me out of trouble. Your fellow addicted buck brother:(.

...Just gotta stay away from those fixed blades...
"Lord grant me serenity to accept the Bucks I cannot have,
Courage to modify the Bucks I can,
And wisdom to know the difference between a folder and a fixed blade"
