Looks like a SAR 8 1/2 to me...

Not that length is all that important anyways. It's more about the angle and the "user", isn't it? My girlfriend said something to me once about the "motion in the ocean". I think she was talking about sex, but hey, it could apply to knives to I guess?

So what's up with this? If I made my wife wait this long after showing her just the tip, she'd have moved on already... to another knife that is. :D

this is going to go the way of the Busse Muk, they tease with pics then it disappears only to have a thread pop up that goes on forever and nothing comes of it :rolleyes:

I don't understand the point of that. What if this was a knife I really wanted and decided I wasn't going to spend the $500 I saved for it, on any other Busse. So now you got me holding out for a few months, not buying any Busse products. Its an extreme example, but totally possible.

Why not just come out and say "Listen, we teased it, but now its on the back burner." or not even tease it at all unless its 100% a go. :(:thumbdn:
 
until there are more photos and/or someone has one in hand, maybe one of you folks who have both would take and post a photo of a SAR-8 alongside a BOSS Jack. I'm really curious about the differences/similarities between the 6 and a BOSS Jack. Seems like a ton of overlap.

I totally agree with that, teasing is fine as long as you don't string us along too bad. That is a good example especially since Skunk sells the blades on the spot, not like a regular release where you in theory have 4-8 weeks to put together cash so if I am sitting with 5 bills which is about what that will probably run I have no choice but to hold it otherwise I loose out. Anyway it is Jerry's show so if he wants to tease it is his choice but at least some form of comunication would be nice

What's funny is when a knife is announced and then almost immediately offered, a bunch of folks jump up and scream, "Where's the advance notice???!". Now it's been only 9 days since this teaser thread was posted and now it's "where's the frakkin' knife???!" :eek::confused: :D;)

Just goes to show... You can make some people happy all the time, all the people happy some of the time, but ya just can make everyone happy all the time...especially these days it seems. ;)
