• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Just tied my first Snakeknot Lanyard

My favourite lanyard knot (OK admittedly the only one I have been able to master). It always looks cool!

Is that a turk's head knot you have on the end? Now that is my next challenge!

Just tied my second Snakeknot and Diamond knot completion..."perfect" !

I'm stoked [emoji4]

It's raining here in New Zealand...
Finally found time to tie another lanyard for my F95 Ti Shirogorov.

I'm a severe paracord n00b, so I apologize for posting in OP's thread but...

What kind of knot is this that I managed to accomplish?

Is this a "snake knot"?

My lanyards are normally 2 knots holding a bead if there is one.
Usually loop 2-3 fingers when using my working knives for practical purposes.. so most look like this.
The round metal end rings.. rollers taken off bicycle chains if anyone is wondering :)

That's nice, I'm looking for some sweet paracord loop lanyards to use underwater on my Spearfishing knives.

Decided to do a little different one for today.... A bike theme lanyard to match a bead made in honor of cycling great ,Eddy Merkyx.

This one can screw on a different valve cap to suit the flavor of the day...and solves the unsightly burnt ends of paracord.. something I always find ways to hide on lanyards

I like using Matthew Walker knots. They are versatile because you can adapt them to two or more strands. The other knot i've been playing with is the rattlesnake (found it on youtube and in Ashley's BOK).
