Everyday we see new people joining this forum and also buying RAT Cutlery knives. Sometimes we don't have the time to say thanks to each and every one of you, so I thought I would make a quick post to say that. As always, don't hesitate to drop us an email or a phone call if you need any questions answered that do not get answered here. Everyone else here does an excellent job of responding to everyone, so a big thanks to all of you. Like Shon posted up yesterday evening, RAT Cutlery is made up of RAT, Rowen and all of you. Think of those three components as points on a triangle, the triangle fails to exist if any one point is removed.

Again, guys, thanks. This whole RAT Cutlery thing has been a very humbling experience for Mike, Shon and myself.

Jeff

Jeff, keep doing what your doing and you'll always have a loyal following. I like to support companies that line up with my morals and values, and RAT fits right in.

Wow...a company that cares about their products as well as there customers. We need more of that. IZULA was my first RAT purchase from knivesshipfree, and it should be here soon. Glad I joined the family!

Jeff, Mike, Shon and everyone else involved in making these knives, thank you too. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You guys are what companies should strive to be. You guys don't sit up on some high chair looking down at us while you're counting your money. You treat us like people and not like money trees. You go far beyond the call of duty when it comes to making us happy and making sure that every customer is not only satisfied with your product, but proud to carry it. Some of us have gotten the opportunity to get to know you guys on a more personal level and become friends. Even though we're not hanging out at the bar, you guys always make yourselves available to us and not just for product related reasons. You're here on the forums, joking with us, giving your honest opinions on stuff, and just generally being friends. That's a big thing. Not to mention all of the generosity that comes from you. When we see you guys at the shows, you're not all a bunch of stuffy company politicians. You're a fun bunch of guys. Being real people and caring about your customers is what you're all about. That's about as good a group to head a company as you can get. Keep up the good work and we'll see ya at Blade.

It's been a pleasure purchasing your fine knifes Jeff, and spending time here on the forum. You guys created something special that people obviously are drawn to, integrity, excellent designs and top shelf quality.

I just received my Izula and I am so glad I decided to quit making excuses and just bite the bullet. I already have everything together and have decided that it has just replaced my benchmade as my EDC knife. Jeff, Tom, & Rowan - YOU GUYS ROCK!!!! RC-3 is next on my list. Thanks for such awesome products.

Jeff, Mike, Shon and all the rest. It is a pleasure doing business with you all. The quality of your products and your commitment to personal and business ethics is a breath of fresh air these days. Keep up the great work. You have not only gained me as a customer but as a several times repeat customer.

I think between the Consumer of the RAT Products you sale and your down home way of business easily translates into a community of Brotherhood Between Customers,RAT Gang,Rowen and the flow of it all ...WE the Consumer of RAT products feel apart of the process and your not a business suit barking orders of how you want the design to be ..you learn by trial & error just like the consumer does, if it does not work in the field it will not sale... Thanks for be so easy to reach and willing to listen to our needs...We joke and have a good time on the RAT forum and I hope that never changes,I am proud to be a part of the Pack of RAT's, the Consumer and friend.:) Thank you !

Thanks to everyone at RAT, Rowen and the Forum for all the valuable knowledge and equipment that you've introduced me too. I can't wait to meet you all at Blade!

Thanks, Jeff, Mike, and Shon...Thanks a million for doing what you do. You're the most outstanding examples of integrity that I know, and your products reflect that. You have a loyal customer for life, and as a worker at a B&M store you can count on the guys and I showing off your goods to everyone we can. They've done very well for us!

I agree with everything the other guys have said. RAT makes a quality product, doesn't charge and arm and a leg for it, has great customer support, values the customer and their opinion, and has some of the best ethics I've ever seen.

It has truly been a pleasure, and I look forward to adding many more RAT's to my collection. Talking with you guys on the forum has been a great experience, and sometimes I have to remind myself who I'm actually talking to. It's so rare today to get to speak with higher ups for companies, and to have them be willing to take the time to talk with the customer is even more rare. And you're always friendly and willing to answer any questions posted.

You thanked us for supporting you, well, I'd like to thank you for being a company that I'm proud to support, and for making some of the best products out there. You've got a lifelong customer in me, and I'm always trying to bring more into the fold. Keep up the good work, after all, my paycheck ain't gonna spend itself! :p

I love being a part of the RAT triangle!

So do I... It's almost like the customer actually means something to those guys! :)

All joking aside, I would like to give a BIG thanks to the RAT crew, to the Rowen crew, and to anybody else involved with RAT Cutlery for restoring my faith in the small American manufacturer... you guys really make me feel like my time, energy, and efforts are important. I know that in the grand scheme of things that my purchase of 3 RAT knives isn't going to make or break your business, but you guys certainly have given me all kinds of reasons for believing in both yourselves and your products and that makes me feel good about the purchases I have done with you... THANK YOU!

Alright!!!

My Izula has turned into my credit card knife - "never leave home without it"!!

Keep up the good work.

I never owned a RAT knife although I have periodically lurked in this forum. I bought two yesterday (RC-3 and RC-4). While the product appears to be outstanding, I made this purchase based upon the manner in which the owners and posters (including dealers) have represented themselves in this forum. What a bunch of straight up gentlemen.

The position taken on the SERE trademark issue did it for me. To paraphrase, it was not about doing the legal thing, but the right thing. My friends, it is an honor to support your company and your practices by purchasing your products now and in the future.

God bless,
Hugh

That really impressed me as well. They didn't have to do that, and legally it wasn't and issue. But they were concerned about their relationship with their friends. That's very rare, and personally impresses me greatly. They're the kind of company that you feel a sense of pride in.

As I just said in another thread, the thanks goes to you guys, both the customers and the very excellent group of dealers (such as yourself) that we have. We truly appreciate each and every one of you!
