Just wanted to show off......

My SteelHeart Ergo I loved the second I held it. That's going to be almost two years now.

Wrap the blade in citristrip, then I wrap THAT in Tinfoil. Haha. Helps keep the blade completely covered.
 
I've never had rust issues with any of my stripped blades. Even when they took swims with me. River water and pool water. No dry off.
