Just what do you expect your knife to be able to do/handle?

That irritating hand ha ha!!! It is my Burger Large EXK with contoured handles and pocket clip. Their website (www.swordcane.com). It is a handmade product and Trevor does all the knives personally. My expectations vary depending on the knife. I wouldn't expect my Native 4 to baton well, and I wouldn't be surprised if my Becker 9 wasn't great at tomato slicing.

I try not to abuse my knives, and since I always have a SAK or multitool on me I pretty much only use them for cutting. The poor multitools do get a beating, for some reason I don't mind damaging a $60 multitool as much as I would mind damaging a $60 knife.

Have a look at the Boker Mike Skellern design. Skellern and Burger designed the knives together decades ago and Boker are doing a production version now. It has some good feedback as far as I know regarding fit and finish.

Boker did a great job in replicating the design. If it still appeals to you I would say pick one up. If you still like it that much and want to spend more money and get one with CF or exotic woods etc then go for it. I am on a Burger craze. The design works well for me and I keep buying and looking into more exotic materials etc.
