1. Justin Gingrich Ranger Knives RD7 in 1/4 in thick 5160 blade steel. This is not to be confused with the later Ranger series made by Ontario Knife Co. That line is great but not in the same league. His original stuff is excellent and getting harder to find. This blade was stripped of its coating so there are some grind marks and slight pits that show on the blade. Excellent flat ground blade has a finer edge along the belly with a much thicker edge towards the tip. This allows for a deep bite with each chop while still having a point that's tough as hell. Blade has been lightly sharpened with no dings or edge damage. $250 shipped via PP FF.
2. SOLD TOPS Brakimo in unused condition without box or docs. 1095 blade steel and very comfortable tan micarta handle. This knife was designed by Joe Flowers and might be the best bushcraft blade TOPS has ever made IMHO. I like this knife quite a bit but I've gotta downsize the collection some. $115 shipped PP FF.
3. Swamp Rat Bad Rattitude in 50100B steel that was professionally reprofiled to 15 degrees per side by Father & Son Traditional Sharpening. Other than sharpening this blade is unused. Blade feels good in the hand and is an excellent size and shape to an effective fighter. Comes with an excellent black taco kydex made by Azwelke. SOLD $200 shipped.
4. If you are not familiar with Bill Seigle's work, he makes some outstanding blades! This one is a prototype I purchased on the secondary market. The handle on this one is excellent, and the blade shape is both useful and attractive. The only gripe I had about this blade was that it was a little heavier than what I was looking for which honestly is more about preference than a gripe lol. This knife is unused and aside from some very light sheath rubs there isn't a mark on it. Below I have posted Bill's original sales blurb for specifications. This one is the satin/black G10 model. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask. Asking what I paid at SOLD $260 shipped PP FF. I will entertain trade offers but please send those via PM if you are able. Thanks!
"Here are the two prototypes I built when designing a knife for my nephew Mike. It’s a compact, combat, utility design that I hope serves him well
Both of these are made from 1/4in 5160 with the tang drilled out for weight reduction. They’re both 10oz each. Overall, the knives are 9 1/2in. The blades are 5in tip to handle. The clips are not sharpened but will severely rake materials in a back cut in my tests. The satin finish one wears black G10 scales. The blued one wears Terotuf scales. Both come with Boltaron sheaths with reversible belt loops. The sheaths will also accommodate a large size Tek Lok. The price is $275 shipped in the US for either one."
