JYD 1725CB question

Yeah be careful when ordering the older JYD2CB I had to send some back even after asking the dealer to make sure it was the keyhole pattern and not the 2.2 pattern. Ebay is even worse they show pics of the version2 then ship the version 2.2. I ended up just getting a blem from Dave so I at least knew what I was going to get and at a great price

Agreed. I got mine from Dave after trying to figure out if anyone on the bay had a clue as to which one they were selling. Most of them just use whatever stock pic they can find.

All of the above on outfits not knowing the difference between the 1725CB version II and 2.2 is true. The pictures are wrong too. Yes eBay worse.

I had to contact a dealer and have them confirm and email me a picture of the knife from their warehouse for the older II version. Part of the reason I have two of the 2.2 version is that another dealer messed up but gave me a big partial refund if I decided to keep it which I did. Part of the confusion can be attributed to the fact that both versions share the same UPC Code!

Interesting how the UPC Code is identical in both the JYD II & 2.2.

Also, how on the II it doesn't say 1725CB on the blade but does so on the box. Nor does it say the steel type on the blade edge.

Thanks. Mine may be one of the later ones before the switch to the 2.2. I honestly don't know why it's not marked like the other ones with the same pattern. I can only speculate at best. As far as I know it could be a blem and just not marked. Maybe Jimmer would know, but seems trivial to ask. It's what I wanted and I couldn't be happier. No whining or complaining here.
