I remember when JYDII SP came out it was able to whittle hair NIB. But I did not make picture of this. Does somebody has this or can make picture?

I set up page where I record anybody whi was able to whittle hair with their edge and like to put Kershaw as a company there also.

It will be marvelous if Thomas or Tim give a bit of info on how they sharpened that knife to such sharpness.

Thanks, Vassili.

P.S. everybody welcome to join that list too!

Vassili...awhile back I'm pretty sure that one of the regulars in this subforum posted some pictures of hair whittling with a JYD II, I think the SG2-laminate model. I don't remember who or how long ago but you should be able to find it.

Ray :)

Mine came hair whittling sharp as well. I didn't have a camera to record it, but I talked about it here in a post. It's one of two knives I've had that came out of the box sharp enough to do that. The other was a ZDP spyderco stretch 2.

That's in almost 40 years of knife collecting. I'm still impressed with SG2 in the JYD2, and the Blur. Joe

Yes, this is why I am asking here. But I can not search.

Thanks, Vassili.
