  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

K-TUSK - three in time for the Holidays

Yes - I usually use red liners with the darker burls.

I'll make sure to include a half-dozen (or more) just in burl...best bet is to either prepay (http://www.kosterknives.com/payments.htm) or sign up for my mailing list (see sig line).

willrise - I do plan on doing a drop-point version on this next batch.

Thanks for the kind words!

How would I get one of these in Burl, D2 and with a Drop point blade? Do you have any problems with this Burl cracking? I had some 1911 grips made from Thuya Burl and it seemed crack prone.

Just have to be careful in selecting your burl and then keep it oiled regularly. These slabs are stabilized...so there should be no cracking.

I plan on doing some drop-point versions in D2 in the next week or so...sign up for my Mailing List (see link in sig. line below) and you'll get "first dibs".

Thanks!

Daniel-email sent in regards to pre-payment on a K-Tusk Afzelia Burl handle.
Thanks!
Jason
