K-TUSK Variety - Clearance Time

Did ya'll see that Dan was just featured in the latest BLADE magazine ?! Gawd, I gotta get a bunch of his knives before he figures out he is on his way to stardom!

I'm with .308 on this one...and I love the profile of the drop point. I might have to add one of those with leather some time.

WHY ARE THESE STILL HERE???????? I have a drop point K-tusk with black/blue G10 that I sold my Busse Game Warden to buy. You will not find a nicer knife out there even close to this price. Go Koster all the way!!!!!! Hey Dan any chance of me buying a leather sheath for my tusk??

I was going to mail Mark (rule 308) a copy of the article...now he'll just have to go buy an issue himself. :D :p

Should I have bumped up the price $50 for a "special knife"? I'm sure someone would have paid it...

The answer is NO. A knife is a knife...notoriety or not...my hope is they all will be great users...good ergonomics...sharp blades. Mark's will just have a lil' story attached to his. :D

Daniel is an extremely pleasant person to deal with, I recently ended up with a similar knife from him in 01. I am very happy with it hope you are happy on your end. from what I have been able to determine a o-1 although fairly simple has some great properties if properly heat-treated. there is absolutely no doubt in my mind. that these knives are a premium example. and a very good deal they should indeed be gone by now. I cannot emphasize enough that when shipped out with Daniel part of the pleasure of owning one of his knives is knowing that it came from a great guy his reputation is sure to grow.

incidentally I also have one leather sheathes and it is very well fitted well made and attractive and synthetic sheathes are also very nice nice positive pop upon sheathing and withdrawing and little if any Rattle.

While it's not an in-depth, late-breaking report...and indeed has an error...:o....it's GREAT!...and I couldn't be more pleased.
