Well I'm a big believer in paying it forward, and the genorousity I have recieved from this forum amazes me. So anywho on to the giveaway......

Giveaway instructions: Well I love hiking/backpacking/camping and havn't been able to get out much recently because of work, so I want to see some hiking/outdoors pictures! I want to see you guys get out there in the woods! So whether it be fishing, hunting, fourwheeling, hiking, camping, shooting, etc. I want to see you guys and gals out there enjoying it!








Entry Rules: 1: must be a beckerhead to enter (mods more than welcome to enter)
2: maximum of 2 pictures per beckerhead so make it good!
3: contest ends Monday August 22
4: chat all you want
5: a Becker knife must be present in at least 1 of the pictures!
6: Have fun!!



The Prize: A LNIB Ka-bar becker bk-77 that was sold as a second? Its one of the 77's from the $100 markdown that tooj did. It has only been taken out of the box to fondle, never cut anything!

Im in. awesome prize man, really generous. I would write more but im pretty speechless since this ones my grail knife. Here's one pic. Ill edit to add one from the 48hr challenge later in the month. Thanks again

This is me at my local summit, called bake oven knob. normally you can see for MILES in every direction but the fog was so bad you couldnt see 20 yards in front of ya on the hike up.

Wow Brother.... Great giveaway!!

The pics below are from a hike my Wife and I took about a month ago. We hiked up Wind Mountain (in Skamania County WA) to a gigantic rock outlook. I had packed a few snacks and we sat and enjoyed a good part of the day there. From the outlook you get a great view of the Columbia River and Oregon.

The first pic shows my BK11 on my pack strap and the second shows my BK2 riding in a Semper Paratus sheath.

Holy cow what a great prize. I am going camping with my family next week, I will be taking plenty of pictures and plenty with my beckers. I'll have to be sure to get two good ones.

Can we use pictures from past hikes, camps, etc? Or does it have to be something we do this month.

My son while we were hiking today..... Look at him he needs a BK77. He was using a stick to cut branches out of his way :( poor little guy.

You can use a pic from past hikes, but if its been posted on the forum before, might not Nevada likely to win
 
Ah what the heck, I'll throw in and see what happens! I know you said 2 pics, but I just cant help myself! 1pic and 1 short vid.

I took my daughter to the range a couple weeks ago to try out her new Rossi. It has a .22 and 20g interchangeable barrels.
Turns out she's a crackshot with the .22. She's 11 and almost outshoots me with it! The 20g still needs some work to get it comfortable for her to shoot.
This is us at the Ben Avery shooting range in Phoenix, AZ.

Our shooting station with the always present Eskabar after the fish guts, but prior to nasty motor oil.

This is a short vid of her shooting the 20g shotgun for the first time. I'll be picking up a decellerator pad this weekend and some mellower shotgun shells. So hopefully she will be set for dove season come September 1st. I'm not sure whats worse, the fact that i'm posting this, or the fact that I filmed this in the first place. She's a trooper though, she's determined to master this shotgun!

Eh, not much hiking to be done over here, but here are some hiking photos before I knew what good knives were!! I think I had a no name chinese made rambo knife as my only blade while hiking this trip...

The wife and I on our first camping trip, we had been dating maybe 2 months.

Dear Lord, I have learned, and shrunk so much since then. Yes, that is me trying to light tender with a kitchen match... you can see the rambo knife to the left. In my defense this was five years ago, before the Army and before I knew what a quality knife was, let alone afford one.

Now this is crazy, I was about half way up the mountain and I see a car smashed against a tree, now how did it get there is the question.
There is also bullet holes all over the car and up about 20yards was another car with bullet holes.

I think the BK10 could feel spirits and started glowing with power.....:confused::eek:

Just a quick note that I wanted to point out I had already posted that shot of me in the creek and am therefore both disqualified and NOT entering in this giveaway... there are other people out there that want and deserve a 77 more than me. I just wanted another excuse to post that photo of me being so awesome. It's like a gift from me to you of pure awesome. You're welcome everybody.
