KA-BAR BK16 thoughts

One of your coyotes was lacking a 9. Now, show us your 16.

Just seeing one 9 killed 'em dead, two would have made them disintegrate before I could have gotten a pic. :D

On topic: I don't have a 16 (yet) but I got to fondle one for a good while, and I was very impressed. IMO it would be almost the perfect belt knife for just about any task.

No 16? The knife Ethan Becker waited most of his life to create? His Grail knife??!!

That's it, pack your shit, you're outta here buddy. I'm taking you to the KA-BAR forum. Maybe you'll learn your lesson there.....

It's because I'm a loner, and a loner's got to be alone. :D

You got grit. I like that.

The Soopa Biscuit don't. Watch your ass.......(I think he's a little partial to you anyways.......)

I've had grit ever since I sat down on sand with a plumber crack. Can't get that stuff out once it gets in. :D

Try a Waterpik. Are we still talking about knives? nash531, if you buy a 16, you can join in on all this uppity, intellectual conversation.

Awesome thread!!! It's got everything. Real knife talk, great knife pics and all kinds of random BS!

BK16 = The best all around knife I've ever owned. As for being out of rum, I don't drink and I'm not a big fan of the lash. When do we begin? ;) :D

What's holding you up? Get the 16. It is a great all around knife for a myriad of hunting and camp tasks. The handle is about the most comfortable there is, the 1095 cro-van holds a sharp edge and is easy to sharpen. If you enjoy modding, the 16 is a good place to start.

He BK-16 is one of those knives that puts more expensive knives to shame.

In most situations it is all the knife you need. It has a great handle shape that is great in multiple grips. The sheath is much better than people let on and in my opinion is well beyond serviceable.

The only thing it does not have is something that it does not need. Bling. It has a great, common, hard working steel and a subdued style that just works. That makes it just my style.

I had the 2 first and it opened a new world for me, so when I started the list in my head, your damn right I wanted the 9 first! Quite unfortunate for the Ka-Bar Kuk, I hasnt seen the light of day since. In fact I have 2 and ones missing and I haven't even looked for it. I just hope it's not in the yard somewhere rusting.

Well, I'll be damned. I was moving my empty Ka-Bar boxes today and look what I found...
Dummy.

Sumbitch, fergot to paste...
