Ka-bar BK2 vs. Gerber LMF II for police work?????

BK2 is the exact same thickness (1/4") as a BK3, plus it is shorter overall. It also can be used for prying. The BK2 knife tip can be a plus vs the blunt/er BK3. Both are EXCELLENT products & can be used hard with no issues. If, by some chance you do manage to break one, send it to Paul Tsujimoto at Ka-Bar, i am sure he will take care of it.

I love the LMF ii ! ! ! .... Super strong and useful!

Its also shielded from electrical shock.... you can cut live wires and not be worried about shocking yourself....
Very handy feature. Mine is tougher than nails (and until I just sort of became reintroduced into the knife world)...
its been my go to knife for everything!

I would go with the LMF, it seems like a good urban knife but can also double as [stupid phrase]. And it has the MOLLE system on the sheath
