Both Steve Johnson of Johnson Adventure Blades and I will be at the KA-Bar stand from 9AM till about 4PM........

It's so cool you guys over there got all these happenings for knife enthusiast.
In Norway "knife enthusiast" equals soon to be serial killer in the ears of the sheeple here :P "A knife is a weapon, end of discussion"

Man wish I could, I'll be there in early August while visiting my brother but I can't make it to this :(

Miss Angie and I were just talking about this last night... I knew it was coming up but wasn't sure of the exact date...

We'll try to make our way over and say hi. :)

If anyone is anywhere nearby, and hasn't met Ethan, or the fine folks from Ka-Bar, or visited SMKW, or been through the gorqeous countryside all around it, or gotten their belly full from one of the local BBQ places... go for it. I promise you won't regret it

Sounds like a grand time. Wish I could be there. Of course, seeing as how I just picked up another 24, I'm sure the wife would think last minute plane tickets, a rental car and a hotel room....plus BBQ and more steel, would be overdoing it bit this week.

Have fun!

Damn, I missed Steve at Blade Show. Dude's just a cool down to Earth fella. If he brings some of his custom stuff I may need one. We need to get that guy to a Gathering! Have fun Boss, I know you will.

Wish I could come down. I do love Sevierville in the summer time. Last time I was there was my last vacation with my ex wife and I wasn't able to let my knife fancy out to play for a trip over to SMKW.

Have an awesome KA-BAR day, boss and everyone else who makes the trip

i'm so far away, even if i drove now, i'd never make it in time

Any particular BBQ place close to SMKW you could recommend . . . ??

Just watch for the little hole-in-the-wall places with the smoker right out front. I'll ask Angie for specific recommendations, but ya really can't go wrong. I prefer to support small family-run bbq joints, but even Buddy's BBQ (the chain restaurants) is pretty dang good...

I wish it were closer... Hope everyone has a great time, Ethan.

I'll be sure to eat some pig in your honor :D

I have a buddy in Gatlinburg this weekend. He's borrowing my BK11 to try. He loves it. So.... If he stops by, sell him a 11 or 14 and tell him to give me mine back..... I miss it. Thanks, Ethan!!
