Ka bar Dozier anyone?

It doesn't perform like a cheap knife to me. It is like a super-value Benchmade Bugout. I have had a blue one for years. If you like 3" blades you need to get one. If you have a smallish collection I'd get two.

I had mine modded with fat ebony scales. I much prefer the thickness over the stock scales. The friend who did it calls it the Clam Knife. I agree. It's an odd blade shape and I tend not to use it very much.

Anyone have any experience with the ka bar Dozier little cheapy knife?

I had the spear point a few years ago. It was a very solid little folder, well worth the $28 or so I paid for it at the hardware store. Came very sharp, centered, and with a solid lockup and good snap to the blade. I'd consider it the equal of the old Cold Steel Voyager I paid $60 for many years ago.

Great knife, great ergonomics, AUS8 steel they have in it seems very capable, best pocket clip I've had on a knife, can take a good amount of abuse. Downsides the DLC coatings on the black blades a crappy and mine chipped during cardboard duty, but after a month or two it kind of stopped except when I actually do something worthy of messing it up now. My DLC coated knife has never opened as smoothly as my brothers plain blade and black handled knife.

These things feel cheap in your hand but that's just the handle material being deceptive. I can write an essay singing praises for this knife, it is truely one of those knives you may love or hate when you first see and hold it. But if your looking for one to run through the gauntlet to use and abuse even if you hate it you will probably end up having respect for it after awhile.

Great knife for the money. Agree with the previous poster it is a lot like a bugout. Size and weight wise. Definitely worth checking out.

Does it give any noticed flex during use, contemplating a few of these for my young boys for stocking stuffers as to thought they’d be good little outdoor and hiking knives for them. Lightweight and not expensive. So just wanted to make sure they’re strong and safe. Thanks everybody

I picked up 2 of these for my two boys. I was so impressed I also picked up one for me! They took everything an 11 year old and a 9 year old could throw at them and came back for more! Both of these knives have taken abuse I would never subject to one of my Benchmades or Spyderco's and kept on ticking. Kids are 15 and 13 now and they still have and use them. Great knife for the money, no question!

Good knife for the money. If you like the size and a simple knife, get one. I had black and blue ones which I gave away to young folks (teens).

I think I may pick one up. I've never really looked at this one at all but the price is right for sure. I like Dozier's blade shape.

One year for Christmas I gave away a half dozen to friends. A couple of the knives were used daily for years and I heard nothing but good things.

They are great knives honestly. I gave mine to a good friend that needed a good knife several years ago. He's still using it. I think I'll order another one for myself.

I know I’m thinking of ordering a regular and mini for me and my 2 boys! I love a good pair of a 3” size and a mini! I always loved a sog flash paired with a flash 2 mini. Bigger and smaller of same model just seems cool as a duo.
