Hello Everyone,
My name is Jason and I live in Ohio and I'm new to BladeForums. I recently inherted some knives and two hatchets from my late Father who used to sell on eBay. I've done sales and trades on eBay, FaceBook, and Reddit and can provide references if needed. Since I'm new here, I know I need to build a reputation. If I'm going about a valuation request incorrectly, please let me know and I'll list it properly.
The first item I'm seeking an approximate valuation is a KA-BAR hatchet with leather sheath, which is not the original sheath. The KA-BAR tang stamp looks to be 1970's - modern. I was not able to find this type of handle material on eBay completed listings, only stacked leather handle.
