KA-BAR acquired the John Ek Commando Knife Co. in May of last year and we are excited to have their first and much anticipated product in stock, the Ek Model 4. This is an updated version of the old double edge jungle fighting knife with a durable glass-filled nylon handle and molded Celcon belt sheath. It's a John Ek design built with KA-BAR quality right here in the USA.

Something about that design calls to me. I love the utilitarian nature of it. I like the easily orientable handle. I like the tang projection.

I just don't have any use for a dagger. But oooh, does that one tempt me.
