Ka-Bar-KBD1?

New guy here. Would like to know why Ka-Bar stopped making this knife? The KaBar Black Fighting KBD1. Have been trying to locate these and can't find any for sale. Figures that I find a knife I like and now it's gone. :grumpy:

My guess would be, they weren't selling very well. The standard USMC model is their best seller.

You should be able to find the model you are looking for. There are plenty in circulation.

Ive had mine for 4 or 5 years and has held up excellently. Heavy outdoor use.

Why do you think we would know why a company made a business decision?

If I had to take a wild guess, it would be that the design was not selling well.

Keep an eye on ebay. All sorts of things turn up there.
