ka-bar next generation steel

wow... my first post at bladeforums.com hello everybody

Can anyone tell me something about the steel ka-bar uses for the next generation knives? I've looked around quite a bit for information, but couldn't find any. Is it similar to a more popular one?

It's 12C27 Sandvik steel. Should be the same stuff that Benchmade uses in its Bali-Songs.

It should perform relatively well, though I heard that it won't hold an edge as well as the original series of Ka-Bar's 1095HC. BTW, welcome to the forums.

Try running a search in the reviews forum for Ka-Bar next generation.
