Ka-bar (no handle) restoration *newbie*

a while back i wanted to re parkerize my usmc fighting knife form my grandpa, its not a K bar but i found some do it yourself parkerizng kits online. They are around 50 bucks i think??

do not use cold blueing, it wont come out right and will look bad. there is a member on these forums who offers free bead blasting though. hes lurking somewhere
 
the folks at bellarmor.com responded and said they can sandblast and parkerize my blade for $25 (not including shipping). just wanted to share that w/anyone who may be in the same boat as myself.
