My Step-Dad left me his KA-BAR WWII USMC fighting knife, that he customized into a "theater knife", while shipboard enroute to South Pacific deployment.

Nice knife! Is the coating similar like the standard USMC, USN, and Dog’s Head?

I do like that robust and contoured guard.

I bet that D2 is gonna perform great.

Funny, the pri mail box was in poor shape and had a rip so I ripped it more. I did use the knife to slice open the sheath bag I would think it’s probably the same coating

The stag scales are a tad loose, but still cool. The other was gifted to me by JJ_Colt45 . Really cool little blade.

I was about 11 when I got a deal on this little pen knife because of the short kick on the clip blade. I used my father's dremel to notch the handle to access the nick. This is the only knife that survives from my childhood.

I'm uneasy about the big one (4 & 1/8" closed). No model # and no USA. The little one is a 1026.

I just noticed the raised dot between the a and b. Oh, well, it's a nice, lusty knife, whoever made it.
