KA-BAR/ Snody knife

KA-BAR posted a "sneak peek" view on their facebook of some sort of knife. The zytel? on the handle looks a lot like cord wrap which Snody is famous for... so possibly? The design doesnt look like any of their other lines so this is my best guess. Hope KA-BAR doesnt mind me borrowing their photo from facespace....
 
They will be unveiled at SHOT in a few weeks. The knives are outstanding; some of the best we have ever made. Lots of extras too.

I can't wait for these to be released. Huge Snody fan, and I already own several of his benchmade collabs and one of his customs.
 
I'm not too motivated about this collab. Saw a pic of the snakecharmer in the Becker snark thread and its......well, I can't appreciate it......at all. Disappointing so far IMO.
 
Any more info? Steel type? Rough cost estimate? Any other models? I like the look of them, and own a custom boss, but I'm not that crazy about the handles on these without a better look.

No more info besides what is in the pic. I am sure after they are through the busy day we should get some more info.
 
Ok, so the Bosses, look aight. That does not look like 1095 though. Hope its D2 because S35VN would probably push those blades way outside my price range.

Wut serial number? Are we looking at the same pics? How is this an indicator that Beckers will be made in S35VN?
