Ka-bar VS RAT 3

They aren't being anything short of helpful. You have started a few threads about a knife vs a RC3. Unless you go against something like a Busse, the majority will be going for the RC blade. Their warranty is best, bar none. The "best deal" is not going to change from one day to the next. The longer you wait, the more likely they are to be sold out.

The way I see it, there is no such thing as a deal on a quality tool. It's like a free lunch, there will be trade offs. The reason the Ka-Bar is that cheap is that its popularity is limited. It doesn't make it bad, just not that desirable by the knife buying public.

wow..some of u are really picky....just trying to find the best knife..didn;t realize there were so many rules to what and how many times i can ask questions....perhaps u should just not respond to them or are u drawn to them like a moth to a flame..lol

Look at the flip side. A quality tool is a good deal. Regardless of the price, if the quality and warranty are there, it's a bargain in the long run.

one definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

If you want more advice, just keep bumping one thread. Posting more and more threads just clogs up the forum.

Dude just trying to make a purchase..no need to be a jackass

Wow, calling someone a jack*** is really a mature thing. If you look at debates whenever someone starts calling others names then you know they have lost and so do they, because they can't come up with a response so they try to act "tough".
My suggestion, just go with either one. The RAT is tough and so is the Ka bar, plus with the KA BAR it's historic and the RAT has alot of fans so you can always find help easily.
And really, the knife is the second most important aspect. How you use and care for the knife is what matters.
