Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this Hammer?
Thanks in advance....

Cool looking little device, but it doesn't run automatically. Yo have to stomp on the pedal every time it hits, so that might be a bit incinvenient for drawing out billets. Good news is you can use a smaller compressor.

Too cool! I want one! $3850 though...
3850 PLUS the cost of a fairly large air compressor. Even on sale at HD, that would be at LEAST $500-600 for a cheapo Husky 5/60. The 33 pound Anyang self contained air hammer is about the same price as the KA 75. I have heard differing opinions. Some say that it is way too small. Others, including a guy who had one for sale so that he could go bigger, says it hits harder than a 25 pound LG and as hard as a 50 pounder. There are a lot of guys out there doing stuff on the smaller LG's. I have no idea either way, but at $3800 for a self contained hammer that doesn't weigh the same as the average Toyota, it seems like an attractive option for a hobbyist like me because I also have a still crated press for working bigger stuff.:D

This is what keeps me drooling at it. I plan to get a press before a hammer anyway (someday, expanding my shop to include a forge is about a year away -- has been that for a couple of years now ). Given a press, this looks like it might be a very useful hammer for tasks other than drawing out and it might actually fit in my shop.

I'd really like to hear from someone who's used one for a while though.

Space is a big consideration for me even before cost...
even if I could afford a larger tool, if it takes up too much space ... it doesn't make much sense if I have no where to put it.... I'd actually spend more if there was a really compact effective solution but that's wishful thinking....:D
I'll love a 25 LG.... still deciding on what "fits" my needs and my space limitations....
I found some actual comments on another forum of guys who have used it.... I don't want to break any rules so if you PM me I'll send you the link....
