Man, I was right through the door as one of the first at noon on Friday and I didn't see half of those knives?!?

Then again, I don't understand where the 100 people came from who were already up at the booth as I was positively one of the first in.. :p

I hear ya. I was the absolute first in line to the entire blade show. When I saw a few other known non exhibitors playing dirty and at the booth long after I arrived/before the opening gates, I was not very happy and said Ill be damned if I put in the time and effort (fairly) just to get scraps. So yeah, like them, I manged to score an exhibitors pass and minimize the cut-throaters load (while obviously maximizing my own). I can relate to how you must feel, if there is anything you were after or something you see in the pics, please hit me up and Ill do my very best to try and help you locate your wants at show cost. Im sure it sucks to put in the time and effort fairly and to still not have absolutely NO chance. A 10 sec advantage in the trough is like 10 minutes at best buy when modern war of world craft part 84 comes out, seriously. Im a part of that problem Ill admit, but until something changes, Im gonna do what I gotta do to survive and dominate the trough.

Get to know me :D I scored an exhibitors pass from a buddy and then paid $25 for another to get HogDingo7 in early.

I scored one from a guy I didnt even know. But ya gotta admit, it sucks for those who put in the real effort without one just to find someone fudged the system and snuck under the radar. Seems to me the norm so party on OINK OINK ;)

Easy enough to fix if the booth did not sell anything until noon.

True. But the only advantage was getting up front and it does suck. I do believe though that they didn't start selling till the show opened but that is still tough. Who knows though what will happen next year. If I get a pass and someone revives this thread to remind me, I'll do my best to get them a pass :) As ThatMGuy said "NO REGRETS" :D

Its honestly not that important to me, it was just an observation.

If I go next year I just won't waste my time getting in line early and concentrate on offerings instead of what is on the table.

Well, there is no real difference between selling and letting someone stand around fondling 10 knives for an hour and then sell it to him right at noon. Still doesn't help anyone who couldn't get an exhibitor pass.

As I said, I don't really care since I wasn't going to put down a few grand on custom handled knives to flip on the exchange, but it would have been nice to at least see what was on the table before someone snagged it up.

I was thinking for the past couple years they with held some so they had knives on the table each day of the show.Seems like that may not have been the case this year.
I know my heart sunk when I saw the yellow-black AD in one of the pics.I would have been all over it.

See, they may have done that but I really don't recall. I haven't been in 5 years.

Yeah, they did this last year.

In any case, not Busse's fault, rather ours for not getting our own exhibitor passes :D
