Just chimming in to let everyone know Kabar is doing a kind of sale on their website. For every dollar spent you get a dolla to spend. From what i understand. So for example if you spend $50 dollars you get to spend another $50. This sale runs until 11-30-15. Save a dollar make a dollar right guys. Happy holidays.
 
Ka-bar supports two well-followed subforums here and has supported BFC in other ways. I think it's fine to post about their offerings.
 
also - if I understand correctly, it's not deal spotting when it's a manufacturer.
it's deal spotting when you're talking about a non-BF affiliated reseller.

This is my understanding as well.
 
Its too bad the Kabar direct site is flat MSRP. Its still free money, even with the difference in price. Just saying this same deal at Tomars would be insane...lol

After reading this post, not meant as a dig at Kabar. I hope thats clear. I know why they price their direct sales page like they do. I just would love to be able to buy from Kabar direct at the same price point that dealers sell at, especially with a deal like this going on.

Ahh guys. I was JK. Sorry. Awesome deal though. Wish they shipped overseas. I'd be getting in on that deal. Basically free steel on offer..

Thorny -- look at it this way, you spend more, but you get more credit as well.
for example -- buy the Ek 45 or Coppersmith Barlow and with your Kabar Kash, you can get a dog's head utility knife and a dozier skeleton with a little left over.

Maybe a little sour grapes on my part too since I cant even afford the Tomars price on the 21 right now ..lol Ignore the bitter broke guy. Nothing to see here, move along.

oh, I totally get where you're coming from -- that's why I'm currently selling knives to fund a new smoker.

You're still paying less than you would if you were buying from a dealer. For example, right now you can buy two (2) BK9s for $80 apiece shipped. That's the cheapest price I've found anywhere.

Or you could buy 2 BK-21's for about 75 bucks less than what it would cost from a dealer. Which is a freaking steal without a doubt.
 
I think its a great idea. I didnt think it was a problem being that it was direct from Kabar. I am still pretty new here and dont know all the rules and regs. I might get another campanion. Just as a new in the box kinda thing.
 
JayBergz it's seriously not a problem what you threaded. I was just being a silly smart arse. It just so happened that I was the first to post and looked like a bit of a tool. Honestly dude, like Omega Biscuit, the great Blahdeeté and the other fellas said, it is totes fine to post what you did bud.

Ah, it's too bad I've spent my xmas money already. A coppersmith Barlow would have been so awesome. No Black Friday for me.
